Florida's Turnpike splits Miramar roughly in half. East of it, Historic Miramar has been largely built out since the mid-1960s (City of Miramar); west of it are the gated communities of the 1990s and 2000s. That difference decides most jobs: older homes east often need new hardware, while newer homes west usually just need a rekey or a smart-lock reset. Our east-or-west guide explains it street by street.

Communities we cover
All of Miramar, east and west: Silver Lakes, Monarch Lakes, Historic Miramar, Riviera Isles, Vizcaya, Nautica, Sunset Lakes and Country Club Ranches. Smaller subdivisions count too — Silver Shores, Sunset Falls, Harbour Lakes Estates, Tuscan Isles, Toledo Isles, Windsor Palms, Miramar West and the Reserve at Huntington all appear on one brokerage's list of Miramar communities (Echo Fine Properties). On most calls a technician reaches a Miramar door in about 20 minutes, east side or west — your own time is confirmed on the call.
Where we work in Miramar
ZIP codes in Miramar: 33023, 33025, 33027 and 33029. A ZIP can spill past the city line, and our work stops where Miramar does.
Where the city starts and stops. Miramar is a long strip — 14 miles east to west and only 2.5 miles north to south (City of Miramar). Its east edge is US 441, where the West Park city line begins (AARoads). The ZIP on an envelope can mislead, so name your street and we'll check it while you're on the line.
Miramar Parkway ties the city together: it starts at US 441 (State Road 7), crosses University Drive and Red Road, and runs over the Turnpike without an exit (Wikipedia: SR 858). On I-75, Miramar Parkway (Exits 7A and 7B) is the only exit inside the city (AARoads, above). The calls come from all along it:
- East (33023): the blocks around Fairway Park on Largo Drive, Civic Center Park on SW 35th Street and Beauty Park at 64th Avenue and the Parkway (City of Miramar parks).
- In between: the Ansin Sports Complex on Miramar Boulevard (City of Miramar parks) and Miramar Town Center, a 54-acre civic campus between Miramar Parkway and Miramar Boulevard with City Hall, the public library and the cultural center (City of Miramar).
- West (33027, 33029): Vizcaya Park on SW 55th Street, the amphitheater at Miramar Regional Park (City of Miramar parks), Memorial Hospital Miramar on SW 172nd Avenue (Memorial Healthcare System) and the offices of the Miramar Park of Commerce.
Guides for Miramar homeowners
Your technician
Ben C. has worked as a locksmith for 19 years and, as our lead technician, takes most Miramar calls himself, in English or Spanish. He shows his photo ID and hands you a business card at the door, and payment only comes once the job works and you've seen it work. In his words: "In Silver Lakes the first lock is the gate. I call ahead so you're not waiting twice." More about us →
Miramar callers often ask
Can you get through my community's gate?
Yes. Add us to the gate's guest list or app, or tell us the guard-house procedure, and we'll handle it on arrival. Each Silver Lakes sub-association can have its own rules, so tell us which one is yours.
Is a night call more expensive?
No — same price list around the clock.
Will the door be damaged?
Rarely. We pick or bypass first, and drilling needs your OK and a price.
Can you reset the smart lock the builder installed?
Yes — we reset codes, remove old users and make sure the backup key works.
Rekey or replace?
West of the Turnpike, rekeying is usually enough. East, older locks are more often worth replacing. We'll tell you which on the phone.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes — ask on the call, or read our Spanish pages.
